This began as an exercise in painting many different materials and textures in Adobe Photoshop for a Production Design class. I painted fifteen organic objects in the shape of cubes and fifteen man-made objects in the shape of spheres.
For my thesis project to earn a Master's of Fine Arts degree in Themed Entertainment Design, I completed a project of multiple sculptures based on these illustrations.

Cast using QUIKRETE Fast-Setting Concrete Mix and touched up with DAP Alex Plus Spackling.
Painted using BEHR interior/exterior flat-finish paints and sealed with RUST-OLEUM Matte Clear Enamel.

Back-filled with pink Foamular Rigid Foam Board Insulation, Smooth-On’s FOAM-iT! 5, and GREAT STUFF Insulating Foam Sealants.
Painted using BEHR interior/exterior flat-finish paints and sealed with RUST-OLEUM Matte Clear Enamel.
